RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Eligibility for Admission to M.Ed. Course

i) Application must have obtained at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree including a graduation degree in engineering and technology (45% in case of SC, ST, BC candidates) 

ii) At least 50% marks in the Master's Degree in any stream (45% in case of SC, ST, BC candidates).

Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government State Government whichever is applicable.

Admission Procedure for M.Ed.

Admission to M.Ed. Course 1st year (50 seats) shall be made according to the guidelines framed by the Panjab University, Chandigarh

2.Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. course

Admission to B.Ed. shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test or an other selection process as per policy of State Govt. U.T. Administration and the University.

The admission will be purely provisional. The candidates need to fulfill the mandatory condition of obtaining minimum pass marks of the qualifying degree:

1. At least 50% marks either in Bachelors' degree including a graduation degree in Engineering and Technology or Master Degree in any Stream.

2. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/BC candidates only. Candidates should have passed Graduation/Post-Graduation in relevant subjects.

3. A candidate getting admission on the basis of Post-Graduate degree shall have to opt for one of teaching subjects pursued by him/her at Master's level.

Admission Procedure for B.Ed.

a. Admission to B.Ed. course shall be made according to the guideline framed by the Panjab University/Punjab Govt. Chandigarh.

b. Out of 150 seats for B.Ed. Course, 19 seats will be filled under management quota as per the Punjab Govt./Panjab University norms.

3. Important information regarding original documents to be shown at the college at the time of admission

Hard copy of duly filled online admission form.

Copies of mark sheets of qualifying examinations.

Copy of matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth.

Copies of certificate for claiming seat against

The Management Quota Seats will be filled according to Punjab Govt, directions. Students willing to get admission to Management Quota seats will have to apply to the College directly.
