NSS Wing successfully completed 13th NSS camp organized from Jan. 16-23, 2024 on the theme ‘Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and Meri Mati Meri Desh.’. Dr. Nidhi Sharma, NSS Programme Coordinator, Dept. of Extension Education, GADVASU was Chief Guest of the day. Sh. D.P. Guleria Principal, BCM Sen. Sec. School, Sec-32, Chandigarh Road was among the dignitaries present to charm the function. NSS volunteers presented a beautiful cultural programme viz. Song, Nukkad Naatak, Dances and Poems. Glimpses of NSS Camp were also shown to the gathering by Ms. Rohini. During the seven-day long camp, Cleanliness Drive, Visit to Neki Ki Dukaan, Nukkad Natak, Plantation Drive, ICT Workshop and Rally on the aforementioned theme, Meditation Session was organized for the NSS Volunteers. Addressing the audience, Chief Guest of the day, Dr. Nidhi Sharma motivated the young NSS volunteers to work selflessly to make India corruption free by 2047. In his address, Sh. D.P. Guleria Ji appreciated the efforts of NSS Volunteers and inspired them to work for the upliftment of society. He cited that through such camps pupil teachers can instill the qualities of leadership, empathy, fraternity and service to fellow brethren and contribute positively towards nation building. Principal Dr. Monika Dua applauded the efforts of NSS Incharges and volunteers who zealously participated in various activities organized during the camp.
